The splendid history of Vivekanand School dates back to its inception in 1978 with a penchant for serving the society through education. Presently, the school stands on a pedestal of eminence with a flourishing strength of 5000 students.
Vivekanand School cherishes an instinct, reaps a trust, carries a mission and nurtures a substantial dream – A dream of deepening the roots and broadening our vision. Even as we impart knowledge and skills in students to match the advancements in technology and globalization, our simultaneous efforts are to instill philanthropic values and the importance of being a good human being in their roots.
In Udaan, we help our special friends to uncover their latent creativity and give shape to their creative vision. The fruitful outcomes of these visions and endeavors are some beautiful handmade jute bags, flower vase, and other decorative products.
We take pride in being the ambassadors of “Behtar India Campaign” for creating a better India as well as organizing VIVMUN brainstorming solutions to problems of the world and initiating campaigns to save the environment and reaching out to the underprivileged in the most unique ways, it’s always our students who take the lead to be the responsible future citizens along with being the trailblazers and leaders of a better tomorrow.
Vivekanand School was also conferred with “The Extra Mile” Award at the Behtar India Awards organized by NDTV and DHFL Pramerica for our distinguished contribution to the campaign that required students to be the changemakers and initiate tangible progressive actions towards building a better India with the focus on three main pillars of the campaign – Health, Hygiene, and Environment. We are also the proud recipient of the International School Award given by British Council for the period of 2014-2017 and 2017-2020.
